Inspectors Gadget Wannabe

Marcia and I did a really stupid but fun thing this evening.

We finished our singing session at 1 Utama and was on our way to the car park when we passed by the cinema. And then it struck me suddenly that one of my friend is having an "outing" with a guy at the same place. They were planning to watch a movie at 7pm and it was about 630pm when we realized that.

So we did the stupidest thing ever we could imaged. We decided to be Inspectors Gadget wannable and to spy on her. We had the perfect plan. We will stand behind the pillar but with a perfect view of seeing everyone who is coming up from the escalator and it is the only path they could take in order to get into the cinema. We will spot our friend, secretly snap picture of them and then show the picture to her the next day since we planned a dinner together. The plan was PERFECT!

So we waited. 15 minutes passed but no sign of her. All the time we kept entertaining ourselves by trying to identify who will be the guy she was meeting. We scout through all single guys around the cinema. There were a guy in yellow T-shirt, a blue colored T tall guy and also another guy in yellow shirt. Then after watching them for a while. the guy in yellow T went off... and hence one suspect down. 

But it was near 7pm already and we still could not spot our friend. So Marcia gave her a call pretending to ask her something. It turned out that my friend was still on her way and she was driving. So we waited patiently again and all the time watching the 2 suspects we identified.

Then suddenly the guy in the blue T greeted his guy friend and they went into the cinema. Oh no! Only one suspect now and the time was already 20 minutes passed 7pm. What had happened really? So i called my friend.

"Hello, where you ar?"

"I am watching movie." she replied softly.

"Oh i need to check on movies. Which cinema you at?"

"I am in GSC." (hm... we are at the right spot, i thought to myself).

"Are you inside the cinema now?"

"Yes, i am inside, watching movie already.Why?"

"Oh nothing. I speak to you later then."

I turned to Marcia and yelled. "How did she get passed us??? What happened????"

After telling her what happened, we cant stop laughing at how stupid we were and still could not figure out how 2 pairs of eyes could not spot her! At that point of time, we decided that it's time to call it a night.

How did she get passed us?????  Anyway Inspectors Gadgets wannabe - FAILED!
